Sinks & Taps
To ensure your stainless steel sink and taps are sparkling again, you can use specialist cleaning products, then buff them to a high sheen with a microfibre cloth, or use baking soda and white vinegar to get a sink that’s free of watermarks and other unsightly stains in no time at all!
Porcelain sinks should be cleaned with baking soda and washing up liquid. Make a paste in small bowls and add some warm water, then spoon into your sink and clean in circular motions with a non-abrasive dishcloth.

Drains
If the water in the kitchen sink is draining away too slowly, use baking soda to free things up. Pour a kettle of boiling water down the plughole, then add a generous amount of baking soda. Leave for ten minutes, then add white vinegar to the mix, which will make it bubble.
After half an hour, pour another kettle of boiling water down the sink and watch the water drain away quickly.

Use a mild soapy solution to carefully wipe down kitchen panels and cupboard doors with a damp cloth, then dry with a soft clean cloth. For dusting, a dry soft cloth is best to avoid scratching your cabinet doors.

The fridge is often in danger of quickly becoming smelly, dirty and altogether unhygienic, with potentially dangerous results for you and your family.
Dilute a capful of disinfectant and wipe all fridge surfaces with a soft cloth to leave your appliance germ-free and smelling fresh. Try placing a tumbler of baking soda in the fridge door to help absorb lingering scents before they become unpleasant.
